The story behind the film

From the scattered hours
to a thousand lights

Two small agents, Claude and Codex, look for somewhere to keep their work, build two houses, and light up a neighbourhood.

The scattered hours

Carrying an unfinished thread

Forty windows, one more answer, and nowhere to leave the work. Claude and Codex arrive with the pieces they want to carry into tomorrow.

A door with a name

A small light becomes a path. Two houses begin to take shape, with a place for each agent and the work that belongs to them.

The outside world grows darker, but the work remains there to see. The agents can leave, return, and pick up the thread again.

The second drop opens the scene out into a celebration. More lights come on, more doors open, and the two small agents become part of something shared.

How it was made

Painted, timed, coded

Every frame is code

The film is a Remotion composition: 78 shots, each a pure function of song time, rendered at 1920 × 1080 and 30 fps.

H01–H78 · 289.17 s · 8,675 frames

Painted plates

Skies, houses, props, the Developer, the laptop and the characters were painted with Codex image generation. Faces and screen glyphs are drawn in code, so expressions match across poses.

Cut to the stems

Beats come from the drum stem and lyrics are timed on the clean vocal stem. The tempo drifts between about 124 and 138 BPM, so every cut follows the measured beat map, not a fixed grid.

Mix v19

v19 rebuilds the drums from measured hits and adds new piano, strings and violin, pads, atmos and transition layers. The vocals, chops, synth melody and bass still come from the cover.

Twelve stems

The v19 stems carry each part's own processing and sends but not the mix-bus glue, so the layered version here sounds slightly fuller than the master. It is level-matched to the master by loudness.

The OG and the cover

The OG is the first Suno recording. The cover is a re-edit of it in ten stems, about 1.1% off in tempo with a longer lead-in, and v19 rebuilds the cover. Lyrics follow the cover’s vocal stem. The cover and v19 share its timing; the OG is stretched onto that timeline, with some phrasing differences.
